ETHIOPIAN COFFEE

Twiga Coffee is proud to offer luxurious Ethiopian coffee in caffeinated and non-caffeinated Sidamo varieties along with our unique Yirgacheffe Sidamo Coffee, each of which comes in a flavorful medium roast. Unlike other coffees, Twiga Coffee products come from only a single origin to offer discerning coffee lovers a luxurious and uniform flavor that you’ve come to know from Arabica coffees. Each bag contains 16 ounces of ground full beans, and their appetizing aroma will waft over you as soon as you open the bag. Plus, 10% of every purchase is donated to African charities.

Ethiopia Sidamo

The Sidamo blend from Twiga Coffee hails from Ethiopia like our other coffees. However, its origins in the country’s highland region create an unforgettable flavor profile. Perhaps that’s why legends paint Sidamo as the place where a goat herder first discovered coffee. The high elevation slows growth, allowing the beans to fully absorb nutrients before the beans undergo wet processing. The result is a rich, full-bodied coffee with a delicious acidity reminiscent of wine and a delectable citrus flavor. Try it with a lemon pastry to enhance the flavor, or a blueberry dessert to complement it.

Decaffeinated Ethiopian Sidamo

When you want to enjoy a steaming mug of our flavorful Ethiopian Sidamo coffee without caffeine, the non-caffeinated variety has you covered. It’s still a delicious medium roasted Arabica coffee, thanks to the long growing times in Ethiopia’s Sidamo province and Twiga Coffee’s wet-processing and pan-roasting method. However, you can easily enjoy a cup later in your evening without worrying about the boost a typical caffeinated coffee brings. Pair it with citrus pastries to bring out the natural lemon notes, or enjoy a mug with dessert after dinner as the perfect end to your day.

Organic Ethiopia Yirgacheffe

You deserve nothing but the best, which is why Twiga Coffee offers this premium Arabica coffee. If you like our Sidamo varieties, give our Organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe a try. These beans are similarly harvested from the highlands, which produces a richer taste. However, the Oromia region produces medium-bodied beans that have a sweeter flavor and aroma that delight the senses. Beans from this location are also known for their bright acidity. As always, this coffee is sustainably and ethically sourced from Ethiopian farmers, and 10% of the proceeds go to African charities, allowing you to do good while treating yourself.
